reiki

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning universal (rei) life energy (ki) which flows through all living things. It is a natural and simple healing method - a gentle yet powerful hands-on touch therapy. It is a safe and natural holistic form of healing which gives a deeply relaxing therapy experience
Mikao Usui, a doctor from Japan, originated Reiki in 1922 after a 21 day retreat on Mount Kurama, involving meditation, fasting and prayer. Usui said that by mystical revelation he had gained the knowledge and spiritual power to apply and attune others to what is called Reiki - all Reiki practitioners can directly trace their lineage of attunement back to Mikao Usui. He died in 1926

Reiki works to remove blocked energy and is deeply relaxing - the energy restores balance to body, mind and emotions

After treatment clients may feel extremely calm and relaxed or re-energised
Healing is not intended as a substitute for orthodox medical treatment but is complementary to it. If you have a medical problem, you should continue to consult your doctor
